Why is Guinness is England so awful?

Is it to do with the transportation or something? Draught in a pub or cans both taste nothing like it does in Ireland.

I've always wondered why and I'm still trying to find 'proper' Guinness here.

I think English Guinness is brewed in England... it certainly used to be, I used to work near the brewery in London a long time ago.

Fun fact, Guinness is very popular in Nigeria and it's brewed there too. I wonder what it tastes like?
