Census enumerator calling and we all have covid?

We all have covid here except youngest dd. We're all very early days with it. I've seen the census enumerator calling to neighbours and she's been a minimum of 15 minutes at each door. She knocked today but I haven't been opening the door and hadn't realised it was her, she left a note that she'll be back tonight between. 8pm and 9pm. So what do I do? Wear a mask? Tell her I have covid? Do I make her stand down the garden? She's in people's hallways/doorways from what I've seen.

Put a note on your door explaining, leave your phone number and conduct it with you at the window but both on the phone? 🤔

Thanks, that could work. I've seen her write alot. I can't even remember what they ask it's been so long.

She came early. Didn't need to worry at all, she said nearly all the houses she called to had covid. Said she was happy to speak to me at the door, she didn't have a mask but I wore one as she stood quite close to me. Was 15 mins but she only took name, phone number, people in house, she did more chatting about covid.

Mine was only 3 or 4 mins. She stood outside the front door. I probably doubled her time by gushing about the census (I love a census!).
