I'd love him to re-do the back of my house. He doesn't do anything as boring as a small 1980s terrace house now though.

But be prepared for your extension to be Dermot's taste ( lots of arguments but he usually wins ) and way over budget

I think he said that she gave him free rein. She apparently said why would you be married to such a great genius architect and not give him free rein.
Interestingly his own extension was so much nicer than many of the others he'd done. He'd learned to dial back the car show room vibe when he got to his own house

My friend was in a conversion he did in North Dublin (she was one of the friends they stuff in at the end to ooh and aah at the new extension). She said it looked lovely, great view,but loads of glass made it very echoey.

Looking forward to the new series starting on Sunday evening.
