Lads judge this hotel room

What would you do if you checked into this 4* hotel €120 a night hotel room.
I don’t want to be going around complaining but ….

🤢 gross. I'd be onto reception/ housekeeping fairly lively...

Eurrrgh... I'd be straight down to Reception and insisting on being moved.

What's it got to do with lads or is a spell error? Looks dreadful either way, have you been to reception?

Lads just means guys . Informal. Not a political statement.

I'd say it, very nicely, things gave been so fucked up lately, staff problems and so on. I'd rather know , if it was me getting by after a very hard couple of years

'Lads' is a unisex term in Ireland. Being an English blow-in it took me a while to get my head around that

Ok so we checked in earlier and once we saw the room we were straight down to reception to very nicely say to them that we felt the room wasn’t acceptable. They apologised straight away and said they would move us immediately.
The pictures above are of the new room. We were rushing off to a family event so just dropped bags and have just gotten back now. Obviously I had a look around when we moved earlier but it’s only now I’m seeing pic 1&2

We use ‘lads’ in place of ‘guys’ soz for the confusion but it’s not a spelling mistake

The first room I didn’t take pics of but it was worse, there was a layer of thick dust on all surfaces, similar staining on the carpet to pic 3 above and also a very disgusting dribble stain down the side of the bed

The first pic is gross but the second two just look like stained carpet
