Dublin rental market

Can anyone please sketch me some info about the Dublin rental market? My DS and his wife (both v young marrieds!!) are moving there with a tech job. Their minds are slightly blown by prices even tho they've lived in London!

Rent is a nightmare in Dublin, both cost & availability.

Do they need to live in Dublin if it's tech? They could live a bit further out if they are likely to have the chance to work remotely?

However, as a couple with no kids & presumably good jobs, they are in an easier position, needing a one-bedroom apartment. It's people trying to find affordable family accommodation that struggle.

I don't think the prices would be particularly worse for a couple used to London rents.
