Getting a delivery from the UK

Hi all, hope the Christmas preparations are going well. We're going to my sister for dinner so I'm currently very relaxed on the couch!
I've seen an item from Cox & Cox in the UK that I HAVE TO HAVE, I simply must. But they don't deliver to the EU. Has anyone any cunning way around this? I think parcel motel and address pal via the North are no longer possible? Or am I wrong?

Try Next or Littlewoods. Both have some Cox & Cox on their .ie sites

Address Pal still works. You'll have to pay import duty and tax, which they generally charge on the full retail price (I learned that the hard way when ordering some items that were on sale). An Post (who own Address Pal) have an agreement with the revenue to collect duty and tax on their behalf so it's quite a smooth operation. When it arrives at the UK Address Pal site they send you an email with the link to pay and then once that's paid it comes in a few days IME. HOWEVER it all gets quite slow around Christmas time so you might be waiting ages.

Ooh that's brilliant, thanks. Is it our vat rate that's charged? 23%?

Example 2 is if the goods plus UK delivery is under €150 and Example 4 is if they are over €150.

Thanks so much, BlackAmericano, I ordered it and am so thrilled!
