Hi,

Wondering if anyone has any tips about where to find an advent calendar for adults. It's a gift for someone. They don't drink or use beauty products. They do like craft or arty things, jigsaws, books etc. Last year there seemed to be lots of suitable ones but I can't seem to find th this year. Am in ROI so prefer not to order from UK (apart from amazon) as there seems to have been lots of issues with packages arriving to Ireland (Brexit, transport delays bla bla bla😁). Any help appreciated 😊

My son bought himself one on amazon last year with a packet of pork scratchings for each day (vomit). I'd say amazon may be your best bet. You could buy 24 books and wrap and number them if they're a serious book reader. Sounds like the perfect advent calendar to me!

I got an advent calendar last year for my patents with 24 jars of jams, jellies and chutneys.
They lived it.

Gabsdot, the jam one sounds lovely. I'll keep an eye on amazon. I do like going into a shop and seeing things so it's a pity but you're right - amazon probably is my best bet.

Boots and Holland & Barrett have ones with different organic teas, think they have coffee ones too.

My sons have received coffee, tea, cheese, preserves, yankee candles, plus the usual chocolate and cookie advent calendars and home made ones compiled of a variety of things their girlfriends made for them. They preferred the homemade compilations as there was a big variety of things in them.
