Is there any chat in Ireland around covid restrictions coming back in over winter?

Wondering whether to bring our trip to see family forward to November rather wait till December.

The governments policy to date has been to reopen slowly so that they don't have to re-introduce restrictions. Once things are open they want them to stay open. They are hoping that a round of boosters for over 60s will keep hospital numbers low. Plus we still have restrictions in place - masks are still compulsory in retail etc and COVID certs are required for hospitality. Can't see us returning to days of 2km/5km limits though.
