BRA have put cctv in the boys toilets

Has anyone seen this in the news? I didn’t think cctv was allowed in toilets?

They have not been activated, it looks like a precaution for the future should they ever need them, there must have been some serious safety issues for them to consider this.

If they're not going to activate the toilets without consultation and whatnot, wouldn't it have made more sense to do that before installing the things?

I agree @UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername. I’d have thought the consultation should’ve happened BEFORE they were installed.

I agree. I can’t imagine them going to expense of installing them only to not activate them.

If I was a parent of a child at BRA, I'd be asking to see the Data Protection Impact Assessment for this...
