I need a bra

Before Brexit I used to buy all my bras in Brastop/Figleaves/Bravissimo but it looks like I'll be hit with customs charges if I use them now.
My tits are massive so my options are limited. Does anyone know of any alternatives to the above?

I'm looking for a bra specialist rather than fashion but pretty.
I just had to shell out €60 on an ugly but oh so sensible bra in Arnotts.

Try M&S but measure yourself properly before you do, don't go by their measuring guide. There's no problem with M&S Ireland with either customs or returns.

I've not forgiven m and s for insisting that I was a B/C cup..... I was a FF!! My nipple was possibly a B.....
I was hoping for prettier bras than Marks tbh.
Mark's are fine for normal sized boobs but not so hot for bigger cup sizes.

Have you tried next? They do lots of different brands. Quick delivery and they seem to do a fair range of sizes

According to a radio debate I heard recently enough....you are supposed to only use bras for 6 mths & then ditch! I was shocked...I've had some years.

I use M&S but measure myself ...some of theirs give a nice lift & a good shape...I'm big on top too. Some of the M&S ones are nice enough for day to day...I've gone online for prettier though. I'll pay the extra as don't do it all the time...but I won't be throwing them out after 6 mths!

amazingtracy · 08/04/2021 07:32

@SionnachGlic!! 6 months! I ain't made of money!! I wear them until the wire tries to kill me!
Next are Ok but not a patch on the my usual websites. Sich a pity that they only cater to american and British markets.
Still not fond of m&s.

www.peachesandcream.ie/

I've heard good things about this shop but I haven't tried them myself.

amazingtracy · 08/04/2021 16:25

@TheLongRider thanks I'll check it out.
The cookies on my phone seem to think I'd like to start a collection of many thousands of bras.
So many ads for so many bras....

😂 this made me laugh 😂

the 6 month thing is a thing but like you I wear until I can’t even if it means my bras are a disgusting grey. if they still support me I don’t care I will still wear them. No one is allowed to touch my bras, they are treat like fine China so I can make them last as long as possible.

I would never consider M&S or Next, not at all suitable for the well endowed woman. I think I grew out of M&S when I was 12. BHS was my go to as a child then Debenhams.

I’m a HH on a good day but can go bigger on bad months.

I’ve just recently moved to ROI so would love to know where to go shopping. I was lucky enough to stock up on a good supply from Debenhams before crossing the ditch. So good for a while, but they won’t last forever.

Boux Avenue. They have a sale on at the moment.

www.bouxavenue.com

Nannyamc · 18/04/2021 23:50

Oxendales stock bestform bras. Not too expensive great support for larger sizes and wire free. Worth checking out

tazzy73 · 19/04/2021 00:33

I'm a well endowed woman myself, I usually use Simplybe.ie/Oxendales (They are the same company) or M&S.

You can get good deals with Simplybe.ie.

FictionalCharacter · 19/04/2021 02:05

@CoffeeBeansGalore Boux Avenue only go up to G cup unfortunately

sammylady37 · 12/05/2021 19:50

M&S are terrible at sizing if you’re anything above a B/C.

I second the recommendation for peaches and cream above. They have a shop just off Stephens green and I go there once or twice a year to get properly fitted and sorted. They’re incredibly knowledgeable about various styles and will order in anything that they don’t have and post it to you.

Koolandorthegang · 12/05/2021 20:19

Have you tried Littlewoods? They cater for the big titted among us. I keep buying the same bra from there when the wire comes out of the old one. It’s a brand called Pour Moi and the bra is called Eden. Good support. Just had a look there, they do up to a size J.
