What's on the menu today?

Chicken enchiladas (leftovers from yesterday) because I couldn't be arsed cooking.

Brown soda bread (homemade) with fishcakes (shop bought) and salad for lunch. Ham and mashed potatoes and veg for dinner. Apple tart (homemade) with cream. Glass or two of Jameson and ginger ale .

Bbq here so hoping the stone’s turned in time

Liking Nathan Carter’s video (even if I can feel the cold just watching it)

If I start too early on the Jameson, only some of the menu will happen

That was a nice video. For dinner, at this stage I'm thinking cereal and chocolate. I've no parade to go to, no reason the line my stomach for all the 7.up I would be drinking.

Irish stew, potato farls and Guinness has been requested here. I left it a bit late to make soda bread and Jameson cake and not because we started celebrating early, honestly . Have a good one, everyone, wherever you are and whatever you're doing.

Granola and greek yoghurt
Boiled egg and marmite soldiers
Sausage rolls with black pudding (a DH experiment)
Oreo ice cream on a walk
Fish and chips with mushy peas
Guinness!

I ordered dinner from Johnny Foxes: beef and Guinness pie, mash, veg, soda bread. Had boiled bacon ribs, cabbage and mash for dinner last night.

Had takeaway mc Donald's for breakfast this morning and napped most of the day. So nice to just have a day off mid week when everyone is off so not logging on in the morning to a days worth of emails which happens when I take an annual leave day off.

As suspected, dinner was turned into a ham sandwich, but I did the soda bread earlier and the apple pie is in the oven for later.
