What’s the situation with vaccine distribution in Ireland right now? I came on here to Craicnet especially to ask because my elderly parents & family and friends I ask seem to have no info so am wondering if we’re in the dark or if there just isn’t info at the moment.
Will elderly people all get a letter automatically from their doctor setting them up with an appointment or will they have to ring to set one up, do you think? Parents are both 80 so I’m desperate for them to get vaccinated and keep checking headlines in Ireland but am just wondering if I’m missing some info. In the news so far I read that healthcare workers and nursing home residents are still being vaccinated. When do you think the Irish government will be able to vaccinate the elderly in general?
Thanks for any info you all can share. I’m far away in the US so feeling worried about them all the time - they will NOT stay away from the church
and still insist on getting their own shopping no matter how many times I tell them. I even set them up with broadband to let them order shopping online and watch Mass but still they won’t listen
... would be such peace of mind to know they got vaccinated.
