Has anyone used Address Pal since Brexit?

Probably not as it's less than a week, but I'm trying to work out the tax/duty situation with U.K. parcels.

I know they've changed their system and are delivering straight to your home rather than the local post office.

I was going to buy clothes that I can't get anywhere else as it's from a small company but I don't want to add taxes on top of delivery. I've been stung with parcels from the US before, it certainly takes the fun out of online shopping. As if life wasn't dull enough.

I haven't yet.
They've upped the price. Almost doubled- AngrySad
You have the option to still collect from your local post office, apparently.
Mine are great. They see me at the door and they're rooting out my parcel before I get to the counter.

We've had 2 parcels from them this week, both ordered before Christmas. One came to the house, the other went to the post office. Neither had any extra charges. Maybe that was just luck!

Got a few more AddressPal parcels recently, dd buys a lot from depop and they get through without any extra charges.

I bought a makeup palette from the U.K. and had to pay VAT, but I already paid U.K. vat, it wasn't much so I went ahead, but it's annoying. Had to pay the extra charges online, I hope it comes tomorrow.

Ds bought runners from Zalando which came from Germany so no extras there. Took less than a week. This wasn't through addresspal though.

I must say Brexit has completely sucked the last bit of joy from online shopping. As if life wasn't already miserable enough 😩

" I must say Brexit has completely sucked the last bit of joy out of online shopping...."
Too true. Sad
