Staycation / camping

Hello just looking for some advice we (2 adults) are trying to plan a staycation for September. Thinking a mix of hotels and camping.

Anyone been to any really good camp sites? We only have a tent - would ideally like to be at one near a beach and/or a bar. We will probably go right down south and make are way back so open to suggestions everywhere!

www.ioac.ie in Tagoat in wexford is nice. Plenty for kids to do, good facilities. The only thing is that traffic noise can be annoying so try and make sure your pitch is as far away from the main road as possible.
