Are all the beaches very busy?

I'd love to take kids to the beach but put off by photos of Lahinch I think it was, looking overcrowded and no social distancing. Shoukd we just not bother?!

I think it very much depends on time of day. We went to Sandycove three times recently. 3pm was pure bedlam, hardly breathing room, 6.30pm was absolutely fine and still warm enough to enjoy for an hour.
