And fair play to Jen Zamp if she can wear those heels all night.

Taping it.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 26/06/2020 23:19

"Des bishop, the drinking woman's daithi o'shea."
🤣🤣

Enjoy the playback, Eloise, it's so much better than I expected. Except the westlife bit. That was fairly cringeworthy. Them, not the winner.

The normal people video alone was worth a hefty donation!

JaneJeffer · 26/06/2020 23:55

Jennifer got the runners out Grin

I wish they had a text option.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 26/06/2020 23:57

Chris and Dawn were robbed on the lip synching Angry

JaneJeffer · 27/06/2020 00:11

The craic doomsday clock Grin

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 27/06/2020 00:29

€2.5m is pretty impressive. And a better night than I expected. Well done all involved.

Really enjoyed it.

JaneJeffer · 27/06/2020 00:34

It was very good. I missed some of it. Was Mrs Brown on? (not that I want to see her - just wondering!)

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 27/06/2020 00:48

No, no Mrs. Brown thank fuck

I'm really impressed with it - really good production, funny funny sketches. Love the constant references to Conall's chain. And Zig and Zag - just as anarchic as I remember them!!

MarDhea · 27/06/2020 10:50

The Normal People and Derry Girls ones were class 😂 And the Den... oh the nostalgia!

I'm catching up on RTÉ player today. They have a best-of list of sketches if anyone missed bits last night.

MustGetOutofBed · 27/06/2020 13:05

I watched it begrudgingly (at the start!), and agree that it was so much better than I thought it would be.

Hozier singing in Croke Park with the orchestra, the song and the lighting was so emotive, I thought it was brilliant!

JaneJeffer · 27/06/2020 14:06

I think the presenters looked relieved that people actually donated Grin

LadyEloise · 27/06/2020 18:27

I saw Chris and Dawn and Amy and Brian.
Having Scallacci was a work of genius Smile
Delighted it did so well.

user1496146479 · 28/06/2020 23:04

Loved it! A real trip down memory lane! Shame about not having a text option to donate though!

JaneJeffer · 29/06/2020 10:00

I was a bit Hmm at the donation website being called heehee.ie!

bellinisurge · 01/07/2020 21:47

Foil Arms and Hog were as fab as usual

I love them. The sketch they did where they played Bad Guy on the bodhrán is my favourite. I'd love to hear a full length version.
