Your thoughts on the winner / finalists/ non finalists but should have been

Personally I loved the Lighthouse keepers cottage and a house owned by couple in Dublin with young children - not the house in Glasthule..
My taste is sooo different to Peter Crowley.

Hugh and Deirdre would share some of my taste. I was disappointed with some houses that got through to the final- i would have other choices.

I wish they brought out a magazine on all the houses featured over the years- some have been simply amazing.

Lighthouse keeper’s cottage wuz robbed ... nice and all as the carriage house was.
Did you know there’s a Scottish version of the show? I found it on one of the ‘very far down’ channels on the telly box. A lot more tartan and stags...

I agree - what a place to live- Wow !

In fairness the woman who won seemed absolutely lovely & her home had so many memories worked into the house but the lighthouse cottage was amazing. Can't believe it wasn't even in the top three!

The Cork semi detached that Peter Crowley raved about was very ordinary imho. I don't know how it got through.

On my "within 2km" walk today I passed a house that featured on the show a few years back. It's still lovely. A lot of money spent on it.

Yes I didn't understand that one either especially the master bedroom, it was very underwhelming... Loved everything about the light house.
I was surprised about some of the finalists. There was a few amazing houses in northern Ireland that didn't make the final. I loved the lakeside house in Cavan also
