Can anyone suggest how I can correct a minor but annoying Eircode address issue?

Our address is
5 Little Cul de Sac
Big Long Road
Suburb
Dublin D00 1a2b
(Not real address obviously)

The address is correct on the Eircode website but about half the time that I enter my Eircode into an online shop it comes up automatically as
5 Big Long Road
Little Cul de Sac
Suburb
etc
Which is nonsense, 5 Big Long Road is over half a kilometre away. So I have to manually adjust it every time.

Is there any way that I can find the address database supplier(s) and get them to correct it?

Hi Black, I dont know the answer but came on to say that we have the same issue.

It's meant that we were unable to connect one type of utility from our preferred provider.
Annoying.

I've the same issue too. The Eircode puts us into a different suburb Shock
Say we are Dublin 13, it puts us into a suburb that doesn't actiuly have a number after it but would be known as xxxxxx,Co. Dublin.
I always have to change it manually too.
Multi millions were spent on the system and its dire.... they had one job to do !!!

Our Eircode does bot bring us to our house. So at the moment I have had to put a distinctive feature at the house so that deliveries can find us. I don't want to contact them at the moment during this time but it is annoying. I also worry if we ever need an ambulance or fire engine they won't find us.

The Eircode website itself is correct, but I suspect that it was initially wrong and it sold the database while it was wrong to companies that supply to online shops. Clearly some places have updated their database because about half the time it does come up correctly and half the time it's wrong, but always wrong in the same way.

I think you can tell Eircode if there's something wrong on their website but I don't know how to tell an unknown company that they have something wrong.

I contacted Eircode. They didnt want to know.
Example for me would be that we live in xxxxRd, Sutton, Dublin 13.
But the Eircode would be xxxxRd, Malahide, Dublin 13. 😱
