No parades here in the West Midlands obviously but my best wishes to all.
No shamrock emoji on Mumsnet this year either so here's Cake and Wine for everyone. Slainte mhaith from me.Mx.

Happy St. Patrick's day from Sydney. I usually celebrate in some way but it's a Tuesday and my local bar is shut (not because of CV, it just doesn't open Mon/Tues) and I don't want to go anywhere busy. I did have a very good pint of Guinness in Canberra on Sunday 😊

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone Shamrock. A very subdued one for obvious reasons. But my town has set up a virtual session with local musicians performing online. And RTE have a virtual parade if anyone wants to check it out.

Subdued is right Taytocrisps.
Let's hope people will be sensible for the sake of the vulnerable.

Sitting here enjoying my coffee when I would normally be out working on the Belfast parade, it feels a bit weird! But Happy St Patrick's Day to you all!

Happy St Patrick's day from Dublin.

Happy St Patrick's ...very weird. Still in PJ's, no family visits planned.

Not too much difference from other bank holidays here. Slept late, had a lovely cooked breakfast, now watching a movie with Dd while DH potters in the shed

Have a great day everyone

Went to the St Patrick's vigil last night (in the North we're stopping people attending church services from Wednesday) and the atmosphere was so different to usual. Happy St Patrick's Day. It's definitely a strange one!

Happy St. Patrick's Day.

A village outside Galway City had an auto parade, people just drove around in their cars.
