I'm interested in replies because I have tried a lot of the salon's in Limerick and I have ended up doing my own colour at home now! I have red hair so I appreciate it is hard to get right.
I tried Melo Hello, they came so highly recommended, I know a brunette and her hair is lovely and she swears by the place, my other friend is blonde and has been going here for years too, I went there a few times and they made a balls of my hair. I had to go back to get it fixed it was so bad once. They have won loads of awards for colouring so I think I am the problem.
I tried the River (That's near bellissimo) absolutely wrecked my hair and put black into it!
Niall Colgans, I gave them many chances and they only got it right once.
I'm not that fussy honestly!! I just want it all the same colour, no stripe where they just put it on the roots first and let it soak in for too long.
Anyway, I have been to loads and the only one who ever really did a great job was a woman called Sinead in the Marbles in Castletroy shopping centre. She has been doing just colour for many years and she always 'got' exactly what I wanted and really listened. I do my own colour at home now so I'm not even sure if she is even still there, but she was always really nice.
