Tayto Park Packages

Can anyone recommend a good hotel stay-Tayto Park package? We're from Belfast and hoping to make a weekend of it with the kids. Thanks

Honestly, from Belfast I'd just make a day of it. There's not really enough in it for more than a day. If you really want to stay overnight, it's the Pillo hotel in Ashbourne you'd want - it's only 5 minutes away.

We stay the night before, take the kids for a swim and dinner then up and out for the park opening at 9.30, we usually stay all day and then fly up the road after closing.

The rooms weve stayed in always have a small fridge and I usually bring stuff to make a picnic for lunch as the food in the park is pricey and not great, leave it in the car and you can go out and grab it at lunch time. Don't feel as bad then allowing kids the usual slushy etc crap inside.
