Communion Gift

Hi just wondering what would be the norm amount of money to give to DN as a holy communion gift?

I have not been to one for a while but Dsis tells me things are very fancy these days with marquees, entertainment bouncy castles etc. not like in our day when a trip to the local hotel restaurant for communion lunch was such a big deal

How close are you to DN ?
I give a nice silver bracelet and €25 to my DNieces

We have just had DD’s first communion, money gifts for her were £10-£20 apart from her Grandmother, £50

Is the DSis pushing for the gift the DNs Mam?😁

I just put €20 in a card, more if it was a niece/nephew/godchild .

A book explaining evolution is always a good idea so the child can make up their own mind on what to believe.
