The person I feel very sorry for is Imelda Quirke and yet she accompanies her cheating husband into court.
I couldn't do it.
They suffered the terrible tragedy of losing a child too in the midst of it all in 2012.

There's been some salacious reporting about the widow especially in the early days.

Did you hear Patrick Quirke's mother on the Joe Duffy show today. It was from 2005.
She was very upset because her son, Patrick Q had reneged on a verbal agreement that the family home would be hers when her husband died and PQ would get the land. When her husband died, she was allowed live in the house but didn't have ownership of it at the time.
She was a very well spoken woman, able to get her point across clearly.
Interesting that the researchers on the JD Show were able to cross reference a call from sooo long ago.

I'm glad the Ryan family got justice but they have lost a beloved father.
