Definitely not me. Nothing to see here...

ILoveMaxiBondi · 20/02/2019 13:04

Not me Sad

beanaseireann · 20/02/2019 13:51

For about 5 minutes I savoured the idea it was me. I had bought a ticket, so it could have been !
But , considering I couldn't win an argument, never mind multi millions, that dream died fairly swiftly.
I had even decided that DH would be a co signee Smile
My dream home, still on the market would be mine, I'd chosen the architect to help restore it. I'd seen her on telly.
Not Dermot BannonWink
The ticket was sold in The Naul- that brought an end to my dreaming Sad
I've relatives in Meath, perhaps they are part of the syndicate but I don't think so.

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 20/02/2019 14:01

No. We had fun dreaming for a while this morning though. DH was googling local Maserati dealers and I was looking at houses.

My dream home is on the market but it's in the wrong location so I'd have to find a plot and build something similar. With lots of outside space for the menagerie we'd rescue.

JaneJeffer · 20/02/2019 14:06

"TD for Meath East and Fianna Fail spokesperson on health Thomas Byrne tweeted earlier: "I'm absolutely delighted to hear that the Euro millions was won in the constituency. From what I'm hearing (and don't ask me!), it couldn't have happened to nicer people. Congratulations!"" From Breakingnews
Word seems to be out already!
The shopkeeper said he puked when he heard Shock

Typical - a politician getting in on the act.
Is there a puke emoji ?

honeyrider · 22/02/2019 00:29

It was won by 6 sisters, they're going to give an interview in the next week. They're in their 60's and 70's and plan on helping their offspring, grandchildren and friends.

7Days · 22/02/2019 00:41

The shopkeeper puked!

Good on the 6 sisters for wanting to share it with family. Unfortunately I've no auntie in Meath.

I wouldn't like to go public though. But , realistically, how cou kjd you not? If I paid off my siblings mortgages, say, how would they hide that from their in laws? All if a sudden, with no big mortgage db and sil bring the kids to Disneyland. All it would take is a few too many Bailey's at Christmas to your husbands' cousins wife - you know, the sound one - whose kids have been whinging about how come they went to Orlando....
My sister notices if I buy a Mac lipstick instead of a Rimmel one. There's no way I could hide €170m from them. And no way she could keep her gob shut for the next 50 years (Please God) if we were all suddenly multimillionaires.

JaneJeffer · 22/02/2019 11:33

It's good there's a lot of them but imagine if some of them shared with their own families and in-laws and some didn't! It could cause ructions.

I know we'd all love to get rich quick but in reality that's such a huge change to deal with.

I think I'd go off on a long, luxurious holiday to figure it all out Grin
