Is anyone a secondary school teacher?

Hi, would love to hear from any secondary school teachers, Ireland only. I have been considering it as a change of career for some time now. I'm interested in any and all details- workload, environment, how you find it as a profession. Also I am 35, is it just too late?

I'd be interested in teaching French and English. Not sure about which course provider tbh.
