I haven't been in years, but I was thinking of taking the munchkins down some day next week if the weather holds up. Has anyone been recently and know what amenities I may have missed in the intervening years? When we went as kids there was nothing except maybe an icecream van, so will I have to lug a giant freezer bag and my own taytos, which will end up suitably sandy?

@Grainnewail Bit late but did you go? When we were there last there was a small kiosk not much more.
Thinking of heading down tomorrow but worried about crowds, how busy was it?

No, I haven't. A friend went down last week though before school finished up and said it was mobbed by 11.30. She got there about 9.30 and it was fine getting in but got busy very quickly. Apparently there's still nothing but beach there
