Irish posters - where do you save?

DH and I regularly save money into a credit union account, to hopefully go towards a house move or renovation in a few years. I'd like to also have an online account where I can move over money from my current a/c when I have a bit to spare. A few I have looked at (admittedly not in great detail ) stipulate a monthly DD which I don't want to commit to. If such a thing exists, I would like an account that I can move x amount into and then "allocate" my savings within it e.g car tax, holiday fund etc.... like my mam and her envelopes and tins in the 80s. Any recommendations?

Ulster Bank do a savings account that you can move however much or little you want at a time. But you can only allocate one purpose. You can set a goal, and it will tell you how much you would need to put in to meet the goal by the specified date.

Thanks - I will take a look at that.
Obviously I can allocate different amounts to different goals in my head, but I do love a visual!
