Wedding dress maker

Hello craicnetters!

I am getting married next year and would like to get my wedding dress made by a dress maker.
Would anyone have any idea how much this might cost and/or have any recommendations for me?!

My cousin had hers made a couple of years ago by a woman in Kildare/Kilcock/Maynooth. Probably too far from you. Cousin tried on dresses in shops and used inspiration from various parts of different dresses, presented her ideas to the dressmaker, and they came up with sketches, then a pattern, then the final decision. Cost was comparable to buying one and then getting it altered.

Fwiw, where I am (US) middle aged Polish and Russian women have the market in dressmaking/alterations cornered. Maybe worth looking up someone fitting that description?
