Homeschooling

Anyone here homeschooling their children in Ireland? Or thinking about it?
Have been considering the idea for a while and would love to chat to people doing it/thinking of doing it

I don't know anyone doing homeschooling here, whereas I knew a few when I lived in the UK. it seems to be a lot rarer in Ireland maybe because the schools aren't so obsessed with testing kids every 5 mins.

Have you come across http://www.henireland.org ? They seem to have contacts and meet-ups for members.

Thanks for the link, have come across it but still at very early stages so just thought i'd put some feelers out before contacting them directly.

Dd attends a lovely school but we are a couple of years in now and it feels like she has just never settled, so we are looking into other options
