I'm not from Cork but the unfunnyness last night was painful.

I think it's brilliant - was particularly amused by the Orange No 11 when Linda laughed out her lucozade and Conor offering his jacket to clean it!!

twinjocks · 16/02/2018 16:19

P.S. I'm not from Cork, though!

I'm from cork and love it! Love the characters - it has a real warmth to it, a heart. Thought it was funny and never quite sure what will happen next.

I'm not from Cork but I absolutely love Young Offenders and started a thread in telly addicts after watching the first episode.

Episode three had me in floods of tears but it also makes me laugh out loud there's a bit too much snot for my liking though

The film was great too.

I'm loving it, I loved the original film and delighted they're going to make another series of the tv show.

I'm from Up The Country, so Young Offenders just confirms most of what we know to be true of Cork City i.e. it contains the English Market, it passed for Moscow in the Take Me To Church video and it's a war zone. Its documentary credentials are further endorsed by the fact that we all have a neighbour like that farmer, the fella with the Dublin accent happily shots a woman with a nail gun for no good reason and West Cork is beautiful.

What's to be offended by?

Brilliant show. Just watched episode 3 and I had something in my eye at the end.
I live in West Cork and fecking love it!

GrainneWail · 25/02/2018 00:12

I'm loving it too. I loved the film (and A Date for Mad Mary which was out about the same time - find it if you haven't yet) and loving the series so far. Conor's mam is just brilliant. PJ Gallagher needs to stop just being PJ Gallagher though although he just annoys me no matter what so maybe I'm biased.

I binge watched the entire series on Monday night and then watched the film afterwards. Absolutely hilarious! I’m not from cork though. But I really loved it. Didn’t think the film was as funny as the series. Maybe I watched them in the wrong order. But still great. When is series 2?? Grin
