Go to your GP first off is my advice.
If you go to a private psychologist they won't offer school liaison, occupational therapy assessment, group regulation work, parenting classes, or medication.
They will offer you a letter for school resource hours but the dept of Ed has closed that loophole and no longer accepts private pychology reports.
