Good luck to all the students getting results today. Just off with dd to get hers.

Sick with nerves here, we are off to collect ds's shortly too.

Hope both are happy with their results whatever they were. Did it twice and still remember the dread in the morning of results day

She should but she has already decided to defer for a year anyway.

Good for her. I didn't do that or transition year either and I was not mature enough starting my degree and wasn't ready to do my MA when I started either. It was a mistake - you don't get enough out of it.

Saw a post on FB from a cousin of mine that his DD got her first choice in TCD. She went to a little rural vocational school.

That's great, she must be so excited!

My cousin is giddy with excitement anyway . His DD is off traipsing through the Balkans and will catch up with the celebrations when she gets back.
