Brittas bay

It been years since I was there but thinking of going down on Monday. Has anyone been there recently? Trying to work out how much food I need to bring and whether the chip van is still there.

I saw an article only today that there are weaver fish at Brittas Bay and a number of people have been stung in recent weeks, so bathers are being advised to wear shoes in the water. Just wanted to warn you - sorry I'm no help on the food I haven't been there since I was a kid (when my Dad used to make us leave at the crack of dawn to avoid the traffic!)

Thanks, I hadn't seen that. I was avoiding sandycove, etc because of the jellyfish. Looks like the east coast is a fishy paradise ATM.
