The younglings have ground me down and we are facing the hellhole fantasy land of Mr T. Any tips for surviving? Dd is 7 and a bit over 1.2m tall so I think we'll get her a wrist band. Ds is only 5 but nearly the same height so is it worth getting one for him too? He's mucho excited by the prospect of dinosaurs. I presume we need to remortgage for food and extras but we'll try to bring some picnic staples too. I don't particularly like people so overall this is going to be a challenge. What made it better for your visit?

Definitely get a wristband for both. My daughter is only just two and she would have more than got the money's worth.

It's actually not bad.

We went last Friday so it wasn't all that busy. Bring a picnic.

Ok, great, wristbands all round so, thanks.

Unfortunately we have to go on a weekend 😱 due to visiting cousins who swung the vote. I'm lying to myself and saying it won't be carnage Grin

Make sure you get the youngest ones wrist band stamped. I took DS there over Easter it was brilliant and not too busy either. I didn't realise if the band wasn't stamped they're don't like ti let them on the rides. We must have been on the rollercoaster about 7 times that day 😂

Oh and make sure you get your tattoo chocolate bar. I bought 20 and brought back to London. They went as fast as I bought them Grin

Are they still trying to flog those monstrosities?? I thought they'd been dumped in a pit somewhere.

Sorry to be thick, but what do you mean by getting the wrist band stamped?

Ooh it sounds fab. Did Peppa Pig create Potato City based on it do you think?! (I admit, I only clicked cos I thought Taylor and Tom were back together so we could have TaytoSummerOfLove2â„¢)

I'm not sure what TayTay and her crew would make of tayto park! It would certainly be an attraction.

One other question, it looks like we'll probably need a change or two of clothes for the kids, right?

I went at Christmas there with a 4 year old and a 1 year old. Brilliant. They loved it and could do a surprising amount of stuff. It was quiet at that time of year though, it might be hellish in the school holidays. I paid a kings ransom for a furry peacock and triceratops but they are good quality and well loved. The food was extortionate, but I just assumed it was because we were in the orbit of Dublin.

I'll say one thing, they both slept afterwards, like two wee logs. It was bliss.

MrsDustyBusty · 21/06/2017 21:59

Well yeah, I'd say a change would be no harm. There is a water thing that you probably won't be able to escape.

Also, there are lots of picnic places around so you may not have to buy all food.
