Is anyone watching? All the daughter seems to care about is making sure her mother minds the children!

The daughter is dreadful, a very selfish snobby wagon with a me me me attitude. She's getting slated on social media.

The continuous mammy mammy mammy out of the 3 of them is very irritating.

I think the hour long programme could have been a half hour as there was a massive amount of repetition. Thought all three adult kids were painful.... particularly the daughter. The poor mother was seen as a childminder first.
Interesting idea - my husband will cringe but I'd watch it again as I love anything about property.
Of course the daughters house won - it was massively over budget. Would be interesting to see a follow up - does she actually go through with sale and does it work out well..
Also - she was downsizing yet the new house had five bedrooms!! That's four extra rooms upstairs that need to be cleaned, heated, etc.
Anyone here still call their Mum Mummy or Mammy?

ElspethFlashman · 13/06/2017 07:59

Wait, what's this programme? I haven't heard of it.

wobblywonderwoman · 13/06/2017 08:00

I watched it and was shocked how the daughter just was way too over confident. Storing her things in the mother's house and only thinking of her own needs. But I like the bigger of the two sons. He was funny.

Yes dh calls his mother mammy

ElspethFlashman · 13/06/2017 08:37

I said Mammy till she died. Blush Occasionally I'd hear myself and think I sounded awful childish but it would just pop out regardless!

hollyisalovelyname · 15/06/2017 19:30

I think the daughter is a vicar.
They all had Protestant names Wink
The two brothers had Cavan accents but the Mum and daughter had more neutral accents.
I enjoyed the programme but I love property programmes.
House number 2 was miles out. House number 3 was big for a downsizer.
House number 1 seemed to tick the criteria requested.

Setsailwithallmylove · 16/06/2017 12:18

But house number 1 was 100,000 more than the house that was far out. And the house she picked had five bedrooms - what does one lady living on her own need that many for? Don't think it met her criteria... love to know if she actually bought it..
