I still get upset when I think what trauma Clodagh and her sons must have gone through. Like so many others, I ask "why?".

Is it ok to ask what was "the fall from grace" that was imminant for murderer Alan Hawes? What could have been so bad?

It's awful - the extended family must find it so hard to come to terms with it.

You're right, so difficult for the family. But if they know he was going to have a "fall from grace" they must have learned what it was. I just find it odd they haven't disclosed that information publically. Surely, they'd want to heap all shame on his name, and make all his wrong-doings public, if they knew he had been up to no good? Why would they want to "protect" him by not making known what the "fall from grace was about"?

I suppose the public don't need to know the details? For the extended family I imagine they just want to forget about him - it would serve no purpose to reveal this information?

Or perhaps it's something that he had been accused of but now can't be proven as he's not there to respond?

The inquest has happened yet has it? I don't think anything will be made public until during or after that.

fair point, maybe for legal reasons it won't be released 'til inquest.

true, setsail the public don't need to know, am guessing there are probably people in the local community who know what it is
