This case is so sad. Am so glad the jury saw through his 'defence'. And that he got life for murder.

But her son will still live his life without his mother.

Glad he was found guilty but that wasn't good enough for the Independent rag. It posted a very offensive post on it's facebook page last night. It was victim shaming and tried to reduce Sonia's life in a sleazy way.

It had to remove it's offensive post after it received complaints.

Disgraceful stuff from the Independent. Poor Sonia RIP such a tragic story. Seen a significant uptick in murdered-by-partner/ex partner stories in Irish media in recent past. Very troubling.
