Aer Lingus Regional

Their luggage allowance is 48 cm not the usual 55 cm.
I'm treating myself to new luggage.
Would like to get reasonable (€100 approx)
luggage. Preferably 4 wheels.
I was stopped on Aer Lingus ( regional- Dublin to Bristol) the last time and luggage had to go in the hold despite it being ok for Ryansqueezethelastpennyoutofyouair.
Any suggestions please?

I have a 48cm cabin bag that's a Skyflite Transit - it's a 2-wheeler soft case that's surprisingly spacious for the 48cm size.

I paid about £25 in a sale (bought it in the UK rather than Ireland, sorry) and have been pleasantly surprised by how robust it's been. It's functional rather than fancy but I like it!

Thank you

aer lingus regional are a lot more forgiving than ryanair though, and usually just put it the hold for free if its a bit big

Yeah I agree with Carriemac. They tend to just put it in the hold rather than argue. I wouldn't be pushed buying new luggage. How often will you be flying?

But then you have to wait for the luggage to come through .
