Anyone have any experience? I've seen a sofa online which looks fab but they don't deliver to or have any furniture stores in the north :(
I love their homeware stuff in general, but I need to know if it's worth getting a van and driving down to Dublin...

Before the recession I got lovely shelving units with a wine rack incorporated into them from Dunnes. I wish they'd do them again.
Dunnes has really gone upmarket. Aren't there Dunnes Stores in the North ?

Bubble2bubble · 30/11/2016 09:37

There are Dunnes in the north, including some really upmarket ones, but no furniture stores which seem to be only around Dublin and Cork. I think the large furniture stuff is fairly new to them so maybe they will expand. Until then I'll just have to look at my perfect sofa online and keep checking they are not changing their terms of delivery.....

I'm pretty sure I saw furniture in the forestside one last time I was in (admittedly only pretty sure not 100%)

Do they not deliver?

Bubble2bubble · 30/11/2016 11:52

On the phone they said not, you have to collect..

hollyisalovelyname · 30/11/2016 17:20

They used to deliver.

Bubble2bubble · 30/11/2016 18:00

Thinking about it, I can't imagine they don't have an option to arrange delivery, despite what they said on the phone.

KanyesVest · 30/11/2016 18:36

Do they have it online?

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 30/11/2016 18:37

The Forestside Dunnes is dead posh now

Bubble2bubble · 30/11/2016 19:03

It is online Kanye but they are very definite about no delivery to the North. I blame Brexit. Wink

Dunnes Stores has notions now, have you heard? 300 note bags and all!

Is Forestside the poshest Dunnes in the north then?
Omagh is pretty good, definitely trying to go upmarket.
Enniskillen looked amazingly posh from the outside though I haven't been in it.
Magherafelt is dire, only beaten by the Park Centre for lack of anything nice at all in there...

I think I linked to the Irish site, but I'm pretty sure they have a UK site too... Surely that would allow for NI delivery?? Notions indeed...

Trulymadlymotherly · 01/12/2016 05:09

Just seen your update-that's great news! Forestside dunnes is v posh now 😌

hollyisalovelyname · 01/12/2016 12:21

Bubble2bubble · 01/12/2016 17:28
