Near Newport Co. Mayo

Looking at booking a holiday home for a week in October,

Just want walks, cosy pubs, blustery beaches and outdoorsy stuff,

We holiday in Ireland every year, think may have passed thorough on way to Achill but can't recall.

Any ideas very welcome

We have a similar week every year in Donegal, love seeing the Wild Atlantic Way at its wildest. It's hard to beat an evening by a woodburner after a blustery walk on a beach.

You'll love it. Greenway cycling, Nevins in Tiernaur for food, plenty of beach and views of Croagh Patrick... But I'm biased I was married there

Also love Dongal spent a lovely week around Killybegs and Ardara a couple of years ago.
