Ok, honestly now. Is a tenner in a card a scabby present for a 5 year old? She's my best friends kid and my friend is incredibly generous but a much much higher earner than me and I'm a bit broke. But if it's mean I'll find another tenner and make it €20. What do yiz think?

No its absolutely not. Perfectly adequate imo.

We do a tenner here for friends and school kids. We do 15-20 or a gift for nieces and nephews.

That is more than enough.
