Hi. I'm expecting my first baby boy in October so am busy buying all the bits and pieces we need. I've bought the max crib from John Lewis and am now looking for a new mattress. I've read so many articles on mattresses and am feeling rather confused! Do I go for thin/thick, soft/firm, PVC/non PVC, ventilation holes, organic, CMHR 25 or higher, anti- allergenic. Gosh the list goes on!! John Lewis sell a mattress for the crib www.johnlewis.com/230698639/Product.aspx but it's only £15 and they don't give much information about it. Will this be suitable or should I look elsewhere? We'll probably only use it for 4 months ish so don't want to spend too much!

Thank you
