which cot bed?

hello

i'm finding it difficult to choose between this john lewis one and this mamas and papas one

there's not much in it appearance and price wise but for some reason i feel slightly suspicious of M&P quality, has anyone anything to offer for or against

WE bought all our DS1's nursery furniture from M&P back in 2004 and it's all still going strong now that DS2 is using it, he's now using the cot-bed as a bed and it still looks just as cute and lovely as it did a few years ago for the first son! The only thing that's happened is that occasionally one of the bases of one of the drawers falls out and we need to put it back ion...oh and a drawer handle came off. BUt teh overall quality of M&P furniture is brilliant and the best thing was that ahwen it all arrived flat-packed the person who delivered it took it all out of its packaging, put it all together, put it all in the places I'd specified and then took all packaging away!! Talk about good service! So M&P comes with a big recommendation from us!!

hi your post was a couple of months ago but just saw it had have the need to vent some anger at mamas and papas furniture.Just received delivery of the fern collection cotbed wardrob end dresser. All the pieces have damage and marks on them this is after having to wait 7 weeks for delivery.I rang up to complain and was on hold for 40 mins someone finally answered only to tell me thy were too busy to deal with me and i would get a call back! well guess what noone has called me back as yet.I have also wasted time and money trying to speak to them about other issues and can never get through.I have completely gone off mapas and papas!
