Best high sleeper?

Long saga... bought Domino cabin bed from John Lewis because it could, in time, be transformed into a high sleeper. But they have discontinued the range and, consequently, the manufacturer has stopped making it. Want a decent height, solid, wooden one (preferably white but not overly fussed, will settle for nice pine as long as it isn't orange...) but don't want to spend an absolute fortune. Any suggestions?

Ha, we did exactly the same thing and bought the domino thinking it was a good investment !
Look at argos - we got a pine mid-sleeper made by 'thuka'. If you check out thuka beds they are usually quite expensive but the argos ones are much more reasonable price.

Oh right, Argos ones are made by Thuka? V interesting - will go investigate. Thanks. Would love to know how many other people got mucked about by JL - it's not as if they wouldn't have had people's details. We bought the blooming thing online!
