Nightmare toddler bed!!!

We inherited a toddler bed, which is turning into a total nightmare.

Just paid £50 for a custom made mattress (couldn't find anyone selling one the right size). Now I can't find a bed rail that will fit. DS falls out of bed 5 or 6 times a night and happily climbs back in 9 times out of 10, but I would still prefer it didn't happen.

All the bed rails I have found online say that they are suitable for a bed which is 140-220cm long, but DSs bed is only 120cm long.

Has anybody bought one that would fit, and where from?

Can't you use something like this -they are pretty much universal and fit any bed?

You legends! I knew mn would have the answer. Can't believe I nearly got suckered in to paying £35 for one that was too big in john lewis.
