DH works away during the week and we visit mid-week (for 2 nights) so that he/we don't get too lonely and miss out on family time. He's in a tiny one room apartment which suits him when we're not there, but when we are it's tough to find a place for dd to sleep. We have a littlelife travel cot which has been great up til now because of it's light weight design. But it takes up all the living room space when up and so I feel the need to take it up and down throughout the day or to move it and put it on the bed when not being used...but it is such a hassle and not ideal.
Has anyone come across any better cots(easy to put up and down,smaller)? or do you have any better ideas... for instance I was thinking a bed rail on the two person sofa might be possible -not exactly sure how bed rails are kept in place so not sure if this will actually work. It must also be noted that dd is big for her age (in 12m-18m clothes) so baby travel cots won't work any longer.
