Cots and beds

This topic is for discussing cots and beds. We've spent weeks researching and testing newborn beds in real homes with real families.

Next to me cot recommendations!

Hi everyone,
I’m due my 2nd baby in July and sadly our old snuzpod has not survived storage🄲 so we will need to get something else for baby to sleep in.

My first child was a 99th+ centile baby and by 4 months he was too heavy for the Snuzpod and we transitioned him into a proper cot as our bedroom at the time was big enough to do so. However, we have recently moved house, and the main bedroom is smaller than in our previous property. I’m concerned that if we have another big baby, we won’t have the space this time to transition them from the Snuzpod into a proper cot in our bedroom and we’d have to put them in their own room, which I’m not overly keen on doing before 6 months!

Does anyone have any recommendations for a bedside cot that is bigger than the Snuzpod and could potentially last a larger baby up to 6 months without being overly big due to our bedroom being smaller?

TIA xx

We have the tutti bambini air cozee and lreally liked it. Bigger than the snuzpod which my friend had the same issue with a large baby. Need to get it out of storage though now as hadn’t considered it might not still be in good shape for number 2!

Thank you so much! I had seen some good reviews for that one!
Honestly, I was heartbroken when I saw the state of our Snuzpod! But I am so glad we found out now and not 2 weeks before baby’s due🤣
