Travel cots and matress

Just looking for some helpful tips really.

Due to go on holiday to gran can in a couple of weeks and will be LOs first time in a hotel supplied travel cot.

I'm also looking to buy one for the UK.

Shes 6m and sofar I've always taken my next to me with me as its also a travel cot. She's nearly outgrown it and we will also need to buy a travel cot.

1. Any recommendations for a good travel.cot?
2. Do I need a mattress for it? Or is that not allowed? Fo any come with somewhat of a foam base?
3. The hotel abroad will be her first time in one, any tips? I already have white noise and sleepsack.

We have the Baby Bjorn travel cot and take it everywhere we travel. It’s extremely lightweight and has a foam mattress board which feels nice and comfy.

@Np15 I've used a few hotel ones in the last year. I always take my own sheets (X 2) and Dettol wipes to give the cot/mesh a wipe down. All the hotel ones I've used have had decent mattresses and my baby has slept well
