Travel Cot Help

Hello, I am looking for advice please.

I am looking after my niece over night, I have purchased a travel cot, but I am confused about the mattress situation.

Please find a picture of the cot attached.

I have the cot itself and the bit the sits in the bottom of the cot. Do I need to purchase a mattress to go on top of that? Or do I just put sheets on and have baby in a sleeping sack?

Thanks in advance :)

You need to purchase a travel cot mattress - can get them in Amazon. And a sheet for it too. X

No you don't need to buy a mattress. That is the mattress. If you do want to buy a mattress then please check the manufacturer's guidance and safe sleep guidance from the Lullaby trust. It needs to fit perfectly and be firm and flat
