Does anyone have a Loaf Margot bed?? Urgent question please

I've just bought a Margot double bed and totally baffled by the dimensions - the mattress doesn't fit (it's a standard size Loaf mattress).

I have two other Loaf double beds and the mattresses fit perfectly to the edges, but the dimensions of the Margot are: width 147cm, length 203cm whereas a double mattress is only 135cm x 190cm, so there are huge gaps down each side and end of the mattress to the bed which looks ridiculous (and not as shown on their website pics).

I'll attach pics to demo.

Have just checked mine and it doesn’t look like that. Small gap but no black frame visible.

Mine is a double with mattress from button & sprung.

Silly question - are you sure the mattress hasn’t slipped to one side? I do find it moves across sometimes on the bedframe.

If you get a chance, could you possibly measure yours, @kittybloom? Although the website measurements are 145 x 203cm, mine measures 149 x 203cm.

A kingsize mattress would fit perfectly...

I just measured the top of the wooden part (so the flat wooden part corner to corner)and it came out at 134cm! Sorry that's not really helpful.

No, that's great, thank you - that's what size my other beds are, so I don't know why this is so big - I think they have the wrong sizes on the website and I have a king!

Thank you @kittybloom, armed with your measurements, I contacted Loaf who confirmed the website measurements are wrong and are having them updated.

I'm still battling with Loaf about having the wrong dimensions on their website. Could anyone with a Margot bed please check the width and length for me, please?

Sorry only just seen your post but I had exactly the same issue. Turns out Loaf have changed the dimensions of a lot of their beds - totally bizarre as they now have massive gaps round them. We returned the bed and I bought the same one with the "old" dimensions second hand - mattress now fits perfectly

You have a king size bed frame and a double size mattress.
